One liter of nitrogen gas at a pressure of 12 Mpa has a standard volume of 40 liters. In reality, each bottle only contains about 5 cubic meters. For customers who have higher requirements for purity, liquid nitrogen with a purity of 99.99% is selected instead. However, in practical applications, due to the differences in various industries, the purity of the nitrogen used may vary. The pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator can precisely select the nitrogen with different purities according to the different needs of customers.
A nitrogen generator refers to a device that uses physical methods to separate oxygen and nitrogen from air to obtain nitrogen. The nitrogen generators used in industry can be classified into three types based on different classification methods: deep cold separation method, molecular sieve separation method (PSA), and membrane separation method.
Requirements for the purity of nitrogen generators in different industries:
1. Nitrogen generators for the electronics industry (≥99.9% or 99.99% or nitrogen with a purity of ≥99.999% obtained through purification devices)
The nitrogen used in the electronics industry is generally used for the packaging, sintering, annealing, reduction, storage, etc. of electronic products. It is mainly applied in wave soldering, reflow soldering, crystals, piezoelectric, electronic ceramics, electronic copper strips, batteries, electronic alloy materials, etc. Therefore, the purity requirements also vary according to different uses. Usually, it should not be lower than 99.9%, and some may use a purity of 99.99%. Even some may use nitrogen purification equipment to obtain high-quality nitrogen with a purity greater than 99.9995% and * lower than -65℃.
2. Metallurgy, metal processing industry nitrogen generators (≥99.999%)
Used for annealing protection atmosphere, sintering protection atmosphere, nitriding treatment, furnace cleaning and blowing, etc. Applied in metal heat treatment, powder metallurgy, magnetic materials, copper processing, metal wire mesh, galvanizing line, semiconductors, powder reduction, etc. Nitrogen with a purity greater than 99.9% can be obtained through the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator, and combined with nitrogen purification equipment, high-quality nitrogen with a purity greater than 99.9995% and * lower than -65℃ can be obtained.
