Containerized PSA Nitrogen Generators Separate Nitrogen

Containerized PSA nitrogen generators separate nitrogen from compressed air using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology.
They use Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) to selectively adsorb oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other impurities, allowing nitrogen to pass through as the final product gas.

⚙️ How Containerized PSA Systems Work
  1. Air Compression
Atmospheric air is compressed to the required pressure.
  2. Air Pretreatment
The compressed air is filtered and dried to remove moisture, oil, and dust.
  3. Adsorption Process
The clean air enters adsorption towers filled with CMS:
    • Oxygen and impurities are adsorbed
    • Nitrogen flows through as product gas
  4. Pressure Swing Operation
    • Two towers operate alternately
    • One produces nitrogen while the other regenerates
    • Depressurization releases trapped gases
    • Continuous switching ensures uninterrupted production
  5. Nitrogen Delivery
The generated nitrogen is stored or supplied directly for use
Containerized PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) nitrogen generators separate nitrogen from compressed air using carbon molecular sieves (CMS) that adsorb oxygen, typically achieving high purities of 95%–99.9995%. These self-contained, mobile, and rugged systems often house the generator, air compressor, and filtration within 20ft–40ft containers, serving industries like oil & gas, marine, and food packaging.
