Latest company news about In the Algerian national project to eliminate bottlenecks, the design and manufacture of instrument air and a 1000 m3/h

This project is located in the BRN oil field block within the Sahara Desert, 300 kilometers southwest of Hassi Messaoud, Algeria. As a key oil field block in Algeria’s largest oil-producing province, the Algerian National Oil Company has consistently focused its investments on this region. Currently, the original treatment plant’s gas processing capacity is insufficient to meet local production demands. This project will involve upgrading the original treatment plant.

Jerry Oil and Gas Engineering officially signed a contract for the Algeria Gas Debottlenecking Project. This project is one of the key production projects of the Algerian National Oil Company in 2021 and represents Jerry Oil and Gas Engineering’s second major win in the North African oil and gas market following the Tunisia gas processing project. It holds significant strategic importance for Jerry in terms of expanding its presence in Algeria and Africa, as well as promoting energy development in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

Key Advantages of Membrane Separation
  1. 1. Energy efficient
Unlike distillation or evaporation, membrane processes (like Reverse Osmosis or Ultrafiltration) don’t require phase changes, so they consume much less energy.
  2. 2. No phase change required
Separation occurs at ambient temperature, which is ideal for heat-sensitive materials like proteins, pharmaceuticals, and food products.
  3. 3. High separation efficiency
Membranes can selectively separate particles based on size, charge, or chemical properties, giving very precise control over what passes through.
  4. 4. Environmentally friendly
Minimal use of chemicals means less pollution and fewer by-products compared to traditional separation methods.
  5. 5. Compact and modular design
Membrane systems are typically smaller and can be easily scaled up by adding more modules, making them flexible for different capacities.
  6. 6. Continuous operation
They can run continuously, improving productivity and reducing downtime in industrial processes.
  7. 7. Easy operation and automation
Membrane systems are relatively simple to operate and can be automated, reducing labor costs.
  8. 8. Wide range of applications
Used in water desalination, wastewater treatment, food and beverage processing, and medical applications like dialysis.
Membrane separation is a widely used process in fields like water treatment, food processing, and chemical industries.
Its advantages come from how it separates substances using a semi-permeable membrane rather than heat or chemicals.
