PED certification, also known as Pressure Equipment Directive (PED, 97/23/EC) certification, is a mandatory certification requirement for pressure equipment in Europe. Any equipment with a design pressure exceeding 0.5 bar, regardless of its pressure or volume, must comply with PED regulations.
